2. What data do we process?

When you visit a website that uses DNO Widgets, the following data is processed:

• Public Instagram data: profile picture, username, photos, captions, like and comment counts from the connected Instagram Business account.
• No personal data from website visitors is collected, stored, or shared by DNO Widgets.
• Instagram access tokens are securely stored on the server and are never visible to visitors.

3. How do we use this data?

The retrieved data is used exclusively for:

• Displaying recent Instagram posts on the client's website.
• Caching this data on the server to reduce API requests and improve loading times.

4. Sharing with third parties

DNO Widgets does not share any data with third parties. Instagram data is fetched via the official Meta Graph API and only displayed on the client's website.

5. Data retention

Instagram posts are temporarily cached on the server (6 hours by default) and automatically refreshed afterwards. No permanent copies of Instagram data are stored.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right to access the processed data
• Right to rectification of incorrect data
• Right to erasure of your data
• Right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be)
