Data Deletion - DNO Widgets

DNO Widgets does not collect any personal data from website visitors. The only data processed is public Instagram posts from the connected business account, which are temporarily cached on the server.

What data is stored?

DNO Widgets only stores publicly available Instagram data in a temporary cache: profile picture, username, photo URLs, captions, and like and comment counts. This cache is automatically refreshed every 6 hours. No website visitor data is stored.

How can you request data deletion?

As the owner of the connected Instagram account, you can request data deletion by:

1. Revoking Instagram authorisation via your Instagram settings: Settings → Apps and websites → Active → DNO Widgets → Remove.
2. Sending an email to olivier@dno-ontwikkeling.com requesting deletion of your data. Include your Instagram username.
3. We will delete the cached data and associated access token within 48 hours.

Automatic deletion

When you revoke authorisation via Instagram, DNO Widgets can no longer fetch new data. The existing cache expires automatically within 6 hours and will not be renewed.
